Job Title: Care Assistant Shift Leader
Location: Royal Leamington Spa
Contract: 16 hour contract
Salary: £12.10 per hour
Holiday Pay: Depending on hours worked plus an extra week after 10 years
Loyalty Bonus: Increase of 25p per hour after 1 year, 50p per hour after 3 years, and 75p after 5 years

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated, caring Senior Care Assistant to work at our Extra Care Development for over 55’s, based in Leamington Spa.
As Senior Care Assistant, you will provide leadership and mentoring to the caregivers. You will support the development of the skills and competencies required for all caregivers and will provide a focus on continuous professional development within your team.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading the allocated shift and being the responsible person for the service.
2. Managing rotas due to unforeseen absence.
3. Providing an emergency response service for all residents living within the scheme.
4. Ensuring that all caregivers are providing care of the highest quality using a mentoring and coaching approach.
