Paragon Talent have partnered with a well-established British food manufacturer, specialising in premium frozen meat products, as they embark on an exciting new phase of growth.
Following a recent acquisition and significant investment in production capacity, the company is now looking for an experienced Commercial Manager with strong foodservice sector expertise to drive sales across the UK.
The Role
This is a new and key role for our client with a clear focus: expanding and strengthening the company’s footprint in the foodservice market. You’ll be leading sales into major wholesalers and national accounts, customers the likes of Brakes, Bidfood, Greene King, contract caterers, and pub groups.
Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll have the autonomy to shape commercial strategy, build lasting relationships, and contribute directly to the company’s next phase of growth. There’s real potential for this role to develop into a leadership position as the wider group continues to grow through acquisition and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive new business and develop existing accounts within the UK foodservice sector
2. Develop and deliver sales strategy tailored to key wholesale and national foodservice customers
3. Build and manage relationships with decision-makers across wholesalers, pub groups, and catering operations
4. Collaborate internally with operations, marketing, and production to align on customer needs and product capabilities
5. Identify opportunities for product development and channel growth
6. Provide ongoing market insight to support strategic decision-making
About You
1. Proven sales experience within the foodservice channel is essential
2. Strong understanding of national foodservice accounts such as Brakes, Bidfood, and similar organisations
3. Experience within meat or frozen food is advantageous, though not essential
4. Commercially savvy, results-driven, and confident managing high-level customer relationships
5. A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business
