Job overview
As a Digital Change Lead, you will play a crucial role in the successful adoption of transformative technology. You will work closely with clinical, operational, and technical teams, collaborating to support change management processes to enable seamless transitions to new ways of working.
Main duties of the job
The Digital Change Lead is responsible for delivering the necessary digital change that will enable the successful implementation of the Trust’s digital strategy. The post holder will ensure that the local healthcare organisations are able to identify and, through the adoption of revised working processes, realise the benefits from the introduction of new systems and processes.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Information Officer, the Digital Change Lead will be a strategic planner and team manager who will utilise his/her significant experience of managing IT-related organisational change to ensure the delivery of this critical programme.

Qualifications & Training
* Postgraduate Degree level education or equivalent experience
* Evidence of ongoing personal development
* PRINCE2 awareness/ foundation or practitioner level
Knowledge & Experience
* Prior experience working in the NHS at a senior level
* Experience of working with Oracle Health (Cerner) Model/Millennium IT health platform
* Significant experience of delivering substantial & successful service change
* Significant project experience (including PRINCE or similar project methodology)
* Previous experience of working on a large-scale NHS IT related project.
* Experience of working in partnership with other organisations, including third party suppliers
* Experience of presenting to audiences and running interactive workshops
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of working processes and procedures in acute and community hospital settings.
* Knowledge of and understanding of Government’s wider long term strategic vision for digital improvement in the NHS
* Knowledge of NHS Statutory Reporting Requirements
* Experience of team management
* Basic understanding of software development.
