Job Description
1. Client leadership - Managing a portfolio of audit clients, maintaining strong client relationships, and acting as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders
2. Technical oversight - Ensuring all audit work meets professional standards, reviewing complex technical issues, and providing final quality review of audit files
3. Team management - Leading, developing, and mentoring audit managers and their teams, including performance evaluations and career progression
4. Risk management - Identifying and addressing audit risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing quality control procedures
5. Business development - Contributing to practice growth through identifying new opportunities, participating in proposals, and cross-selling additional services
6. Strategic input - Contributing to the firm's audit strategy, methodology improvements, and implementation of new audit technologies
7. Financial management - Monitoring engagement profitability, managing resource allocation, and ensuring timely billing and collection
8. Regulatory responsibilities - Acting as a Responsible Individual (RI) signing audit reports and maintaining appropriate professional skepticism and independence
9. Market presence - Representing the firm at events, building networks, and enhancing the firm's market reputation through thought leadership
10. Innovation - Driving adoption of new audit approaches, technologies, and methodologies to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness
