Job Description
* Processing invoices and managing payment of suppliers
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Maintaining the purchase ledger
* Assisting with month-end closing
* Preparing reports on account status
* Collaborating with the team to improve financial processes
* Addressing and resolving any invoice queries
* Managing petty cash transactions
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
* A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
* Understanding of general accounting procedures
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
* Experience in data entry and management
* Knowledge of accounts payable principles
* Strong numeracy and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
