The Role
We are looking for an experienced Content Strategist to join our client’s dynamic integrated marketing agency. This is a pivotal role, heading up a newly formed client group, working closely with the Client Partner and supporting the agency Creative Director.
As the Content Strategist, you will:
* Develop and oversee content strategies tailored to client objectives, ensuring they are multi-channel, innovative, and ROI-focused.
* Lead content ideation to produce concepts and products that meet audience needs and align with brand identity and values.
* Act as magazine editor where the magazine is one of the client products, including sourcing and managing contributors.
* Serve as the primary content strategy advisor to clients, ensuring alignment with their goals and industry trends.
* Identify opportunities to expand and diversify client accounts, proactively pitching new ideas and solutions to drive business growth.
* Stay ahead of digital trends to drive cutting-edge content strategies that position the agency as a thought leader.
* Analyse content performance metrics to provide actionable insights for optimisation and future strategies.
* Manage and mentor a small but talented team of content creators, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
* Ensure delivery of content projects to deadline within scope, budget, and client expectations.
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines creativity with strategic thinking and has a proven track record in content strategy. The ideal candidate will have:
* Extensive experience in content strategy and editorial leadership, within an agency setting.
* A strong understanding of integrated marketing and the role of content across various channels, including social media, email, web, and print.
* Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
* Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
* Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to inform strategy and demonstrate success.
* A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a passion for delivering outstanding results.
