Junior Designer
Salary: £28k
Location: Potters Bar
Office requirement: Hybrid, 1 day per week (Tuesdays)
Employment type: Permanent Full-Time
TL;DR: Are you a Junior Designer who wants to create impactful visuals that tell Elizabeth Scarlett’s brand story? You’ll design marketing assets across digital and print, support campaigns, and ensure brand consistency. A passion for design, creativity, and wildlife conservation is key. Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is required, along with strong design aesthetics.
The role
At Elizabeth Scarlett, we are scaling our presence in the UK and US with the ambitious goal of raising £2 Million for Wildlife Conservation by 2030. We are looking for passionate, driven individuals eager to make an extraordinary impact and help us achieve this goal.
As our Junior Designer, you’ll help us communicate our brand story through stunning visuals. Assisting the creative team in all things day to day through to launching new and exciting products and campaigns. If you’re eager to make an impact, learn, and grow in a fast-paced creative environment, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll report directly to our Senior Creative, Jeni, supported by our Marketing Director, Sophie (former Brand & Marketing Director at Papier & Glassette).
Your close allies will be the rest of the Brand and Creative team who you’ll collaborate with to ensure the consistency and evolution of our brand identity across all platforms and campaigns.
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
* Collaborating with the Senior Creative and the broader team to design and create impactful visual assets across multiple key channels - website, social media (paid & organic) and email.
* Designing marketing collateral, including email templates, promotional banners, paid marketing ads (static & video) and ad hoc print materials - working closely with Copywriter to design layouts that fulfil creative brief/objective.
* Designing eye-catching visuals for social media platforms (Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, etc.) that drive engagement and enhance our online presence.
* Following Elizabeth Scarlett’s brand guidelines closely, ensuring all designs align with Elizabeth Scarlett's aesthetic and tone.
* Contributing to the ideation and brainstorming of creative concepts for new campaigns and collections.
* Support in image editing, resizing and photo retouching to ensure all visual assets are polished and brand-appropriate.
* Bring designs to life by creating engaging video content and dynamic motion graphics that enhance brand storytelling and visual communication.
* Stay up to date with the latest design trends and technologies, bringing fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the team.
