We are currently recruiting for a Hospitality Assistant. Are you engaging, energetic and enjoy working as part of a team helping to support one-to-one activities with residents who may be in lounges? As a Hospitality Assistant you will be:
* Ensuring kitchenette areas are fully stocked prior to serving of all meals
* Preparing and laying tables in dining areas
* Preparing individual residents' bedroom meal trays, changing water and juice jugs in resident bedrooms, and checking clean glasses are available
* Assisting in clearing tables after meals and cleaning all kitchenette areas
* Serving tea and coffee, pre-lunch drinks, and snacks throughout the day
* After lunch, checking lounge areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming, emptying bins, and vacuuming throughout the shift
* Ensuring readily available magazines, papers, and recreational games are in lounges for residents' use, encouraging and offering them to residents
* Engaging in one-to-one activity with residents in the lounges where needed
* Welcoming residents' visitors to the home and taking them to residents while offering refreshments
To succeed you will be:
* A team player who engages well with others
* Qualified in Basic Food Hygiene and able to demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene
* Knowledgeable of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments
* A strong communicator and influencer
* Energetic and hard-working
* Flexible and adaptable to change
* Passionate about offering superior services and wanting to make a difference
* A glass-half-full person, with a sense of humour and a positive outlook
