Role description:
Need a Senior ServiceNow Developer, who will lead the development and implementation of complex solutions, acting as a technical expert and guiding organizations through their ServiceNow journey, while also ensuring adherence to best practices.
Key responsibilities:
● Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements, including custom features and integrations.
● Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance and support to other developers and stakeholders.
● Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the smooth operation of ServiceNow systems.
● Best Practices: Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and implementation standards.
● Collaboration: Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
● Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation.
● Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to- date with the latest ServiceNow features and technologies
● Team Leadership: May lead a team of developers or consultants.
● Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the ServiceNow platform.
● Reporting and Analytics: Experience in reporting and performance analytics.
● Agile Methodologies: Collaborate closely with agile teams, contributing to sprint planning and delivering solution features.
● Testing and Deployment: Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy solutions on the platform.
● Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
● Consulting: Provide advanced technical consulting and support quality assurance activities.
● System Configuration: Implement complex ServiceNow solutions, including system configuration and development of custom features.
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
● Experience as a senior ServiceNow developer in multiple implementation projects
● in a customer-centric support role, preferably in the environment providing IT services
● A detailed understanding of the user / business function, work process and key business outputs
● Detailed understanding of ITIL processes and application
● Experienced in ITIL Process Definition, Integration Solutions, Architecture level configurations, Javascript, Web development, APIs
● Expertise ServiceNow deployments, integration with other third party tools, Orchestration, operational activities, Project Management expertise and merging multiple instances
● Strong work experience and associated for projects like Support, Maintenance, Migration, Upgrades, Integrations and Implementation
● Experience in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM and integration
● Certified in CSA, CAD, CIS ITSM, CIS Discovery, ATF and other relevant certifications
