Job Title: Project Planner Client : BAE Systems Location: Glasgow Contract Type: 6-Month Contingent Contract (with the opportunity to be extended) Working Hours: 37 hours per week (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote) Hourly Rate: £31.03 paye or £40.94 Umbrella Security Clearance: BPSS About the Role You will be tasked with creating, maintaining and controling the project and delivery schedules, including the monitoring and reporting of project status. Actively work to resolve scheduling issues, working with internal and external stakeholders to formulate recovery plans. Key Responsibilities Have a clear understanding and application of the Quality and HS&E Management System documentation e.g. Process Instructions, Risk Assessments etc. applicable to your particular work scope and to obey all HS&E rules. Provide planning & scheduling expertise in the creation of schedules to support the execution of projects. Produce high level Project status information and other required company reports. Provide planning & scheduling expertise to support the introduction of Key major initiatives into the business. Proactively identify and feedback any opportunities to enhance continuous improvement. Skills and Experience Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Planning/Scheduling policies, processes, procedures and systems. Comprehensive Planning/Scheduling experience demonstrated in a professional capacity within a project. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of their projects. Comprehensive understanding of one or more Planning/Scheduling tools techniques and practices. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Business environment for their project. Knowledge and experience of PM governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs).
