Job Purpose
The ICE Exchange Data and Repositories team manages licensing, delivery, and compliance of ICE Futures exchange data sourced from the ICE trading platform. As a member of the Exchange Data team, the Junior Market Data Analyst will assist in serving a sophisticated customer base (investment banks, proprietary traders, hedge funds, data redistributors, and software vendors) who seek access to ICE's Futures and OTC markets through intraday services, proprietary market data subscriptions, daily mark to market settlements, and historical data.
The ideal candidate for this position must have the ability to communicate effectively and converse fluently about exchange data policies while balancing multiple tasks in a high-paced environment. Most importantly, this individual must collaborate with the team and contribute to the team’s goals and objectives. Having some knowledge or experience in the market data business is preferred.
Responsibilities
1. Market Data Administration and Client Operations - Engage with a wide range of global clients, existing and prospective. Handle general inquiries pertaining to ICE Futures market data content, licensing and fees. Facilitate the KYC process, onboarding, entitlement, and/or termination processes. Ensure billings are implemented accurately and collect past due invoices from delinquent accounts.
2. Product Sales Support and Account Management - Build and manage relationships with trading participants, data vendors, technology firms, and inter-company teams on a global scale. Assist in client inquiries/disputes from start to finish. Coordinate internally to meet unique client needs while upholding data policies and promoting ICE data services.
3. Product Implementation Support - Manage projects that include launching new products to relevant market reports and services. Employ operational efficiencies across data management, business intelligence, and customer onboarding. Record customer feedback to aid in the enhancement of product characteristics.
Knowledge And Experience
1. BS in Business Administration, Finance/Economics, or Marketing or equivalent combination of education or experience is required.
2. Adept computer and software literacy preferred. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint - is a must. Tableau or other data visualization knowledge is helpful but not required.
3. Must be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and a track record of exceptional customer service.
4. Solid attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a high-speed environment is required.
5. Strong analytical, quantitative, and analysis skills preferred.
6. Knowledge of trading, market data, exchanges, technology, or network infrastructure is a plus.
