Are you a detail-oriented digital marketer with a passion for publishing high-quality web content? We are looking for a Web Manager to maintain and optimise the publication process across our group websites, ensuring that all content is accurately formatted, visually engaging, and aligned with SEO and user experience best practices. In this role, you will collaborate with content creators, designers, and developers to maintain a seamless and effective online presence.
Reporting directly to the Head of Performance Marketing, the ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, a keen eye for detail, and a data-driven approach. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and enhance our digital content strategy through search engine optimisation efforts, ensuring our digital presence ranks highly and reaches the right audiences in the property sector. In this role, you will help develop and execute SEO strategies, analyse performance metrics, conduct keyword research, and collaborate with content and technical teams to enhance search rankings.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create, publish, edit, and maintain content across company websites, blogs, and digital platforms.
2. Ensure website content adheres to brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and SEO best practices.
3. Work with content creators, designers, and developers to implement engaging multimedia elements.
4. Design and build landing pages using our CMS platform to support various online initiatives.
5. Monitor website performance and troubleshoot issues related to formatting, broken links, or functionality.
6. Optimise content for search engines and user experience, including metadata, alt text, and keyword placement.
7. Perform regular website audits and updates to keep content fresh, accurate, and aligned with company objectives.
8. Regularly assess and improve the structure of the website to ensure its intuitive and user-friendly, with clear pathways for users to convert.
9. Assist in implementing CRO best practices across all websites in the group to improve conversion rates to lead.
10. Collaborate with marketing, IT, and other stakeholders to support digital campaigns.
11. Stay up to date with web publishing trends, CMS updates, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. 3-5 years digital marketing experience with a good knowledge of technical as well as content.
2. Proven experience in web publishing or content management.
3. Proficiency in CMS platforms such as WordPress.
4. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.
5. Familiarity with SEO techniques and best practices.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
7. Minimum 2 years’ experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
8. Working experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT.
What Excellent Looks Like:
1. Confident working autonomously and managing 3rd party agencies.
2. Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and spoken.
3. Ability to project manage tasks, handle multiple projects, and manage stakeholder expectations.
4. Understanding of SEO best practices, algorithms, and the factors that influence rankings.
5. Understanding of content strategy and SEO, with the ability to train internal content writers on how to create content that drives organic discovery.
6. Experience utilising tools and technology to manage SEO such as SEMrush, and Search Console.
7. Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to improve site performance.
