Technical Co-ordinator – Growing Residential Developer – South Yorkshire

We have been exclusively retained to recruit a new and exciting position for our client. The business is going from strength to strength. Having secured a healthy pipeline of projects in the local area. They are looking to build on this success. With the addition a Technical Co-ordinator. This role offers the opportunity to head up a new department for the company and a resulting fast-track career development.
Role & Responsibilities
* Manage all external consultants for the scheme to ensure fully complete, correct and coordinated packages of information are issued to Commercial and Production teams.
* Managing subcontractor and supplier design approvals ensuring timely turnaround.
* Monitoring all subcontractor design approvals and keep up dated approvals schedule in line with build programme.
* Manage the flow of information to the Surveyor’s, Buyer, Production, and client for the schemes.
* Update and coordinate all monthly Technical schedules
* Review and coordinate design and technical-related issues with the Production Team.
* Manage and control variations in relation to drawing revisions, construction programmes and costs.
* Monitoring and obtaining all critical certificates to ensure documentation is in place
* Ensuring all documents are correctly available for the Document Controller.
* Attending site meetings and monthly/weekly project meetings.
