Our values: Belong Innovate Nurture Trust The Opportunity The postholder will oversee the Licensing functions of the council and to lead, develop, manage, and prioritise the work of the Council's Licensing Service. This is a great opportunity to be able to make a difference to use your expertise in a wide range of licensing matters including the statutory control of Liquor, Gambling, Animal, Hackney and Private Hire Licences plus miscellaneous and other associated regulatory duties. This will include the management of the case work of the team incorporating proactive inspections, investigations arising from complaints received. The postholder will need to be prepared to undertake the full range of enforcement responsibilities to ensure that Hackney and Private Hire operators and drivers meet their statutory responsibilities and comply with the council’s additional requirements.
