We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Gartree, a category B men's prison, located in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
In this role, you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
Hours
The site currently offers shifts across Monday to Sunday including bank holidays. The shift hours are either 07:30 to 17:30 or 07:30 to 20:45. This position is full-time.
Salary
You will receive an annual salary up to £40,211 per annum, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
* Working within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions
* Undertaking medication rounds, dispensing controlled medication, attending emergency response situations, assessing patients, and undertaking reception screening
* Using your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse-led clinics to your patient group while being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.

* Registered nurse (Adult)
* Current professional qualification (NMC)
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
