Job summary This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, highly organised individual to help provide efficient secretarial and administrative support within the Medical Secretary team. The successful candidate will be a team player, a proficient audio typist and have excellent computer skills. Applicants must be able to show excellent communication skills with patients and external organisations whilst building good relationships with colleagues. The role is for 20-25 hours per week. Main duties of the job To provide secretarial services to the Practice. To represent the Practice on the telephone, face-to-face and with written correspondence in a professional manner. To communicate with patients and external organisations friendly and efficiently. To keep administration and patient records in good order. Assist other members of the Primary Health Care Team as necessary to ensure the Practice operates professionally and efficiently.
