What you’ll do
The Product Owner is accountable for defining and leading on Business demands for data teams, including analytics, data science, data visualisation, engineering, and more. Ensuring proper collection of Vodafone Business UK requirements with stakeholders to enable functional and technical design of changes.
This role has a key focus to ensure new demand is translated into sustainable requirements, is accountable to democratise data and embed data-led decision making across UK Business to deliver revenue and innovation capabilities. This is the bridge between technical teams and true business value in a B2B environment.
* Engage business stakeholders to understand requirements.
* Guide benefits case with the stakeholders and to make sure that insights are actionable.
* Document business requirements at a sufficient detail for delivery teams to use.
* Validate and sign off requirements with business.
* Create a knowledge base and glossary of business and data processes.
* Follow up the implementation and monitor the results. Develop improvement metrics.
* Evangelisation of self-serve.
* Adoption / Change Management / Continuous improvement.
Who you are
* Proven track record in understanding business requirements, designing and implementing business changes.
* Commercial acumen.
* Able to work with complexity, management of multiple activities within a fluid and fast-changing environment.
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
* Data Literacy/storytelling skills. Experience of working in a data environment, able to interpret data and attach business actions.
