Job Description
As our HR Apprentice, reporting to the HR Adviser, you will be working within a small and supportive HR team who pride themselves in delivering an exceptional service to the business and over 500 employees.
You’ll gain exposure to a variety of different areas of HR, from recruitment, to onboarding, training and absence management. This is a great first step into a HR career, working across our varied and unique organisation, you’ll learn as you earn, building up your HR experience through exposure to a variety of different departments.
The role includes completing the Level 3 HR Apprenticeship qualification using the skills and knowledge that you will have built up to complete your projects and assignments. You will have the opportunity to be accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), which is the industry standard 'first step' for HR professionals in the UK.
The role will be a 2-year, fixed-term contract, with the potential to become a permanent role.
Qualifications
About You
This role is ideally suited to a graduate, school leaver or administrator with an enthusiasm for a career in HR. Ideally, you'll need to drive as it is a countryside location, with little public transport links.
You will have:
* A passion for learning & developing new skills
* A minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to confidently communicate with individuals at all levels
* Ability to manage your own workload
