A leading offshore law firm with an international focus is looking for a highly experienced paralegal to join their office based in the Cayman Islands. The role will entail supporting the Partners and Associates, providing a high quality, proactive and efficient administration service across a broad range of tasks and initiatives. The role will require solid administrative skills, a willingness to adapt to a broad practice, a client-centric and commercial approach, teamwork and the ability to think on your feet.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): reviewing and summarising legal documents, performing legal research and analysis, maintaining system based filing systems, assisting in drafting a range of legal documents, attending client meetings/calls with fee earners and taking notes, along with taking responsibility for a wide range of tasks/projects as required and instructed by the Partners and Associates in the team.
Our client is looking for a well-educated with exceptional IT and communication skills, and prior, solid, and relevant experienced gained at a well-known law firm(s). The client is looking for a candidate with exemplary administrative skills, and the ability to work in a calm, efficient manner at all times.
It is essential that applicants have strong links to the Cayman Islands (preferably already located there), with the right to work on the islands already.
