About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator / Cyber Security Analyst to join our Centre Cost Base Business Unit based at Richmond - VIC.
Reporting to the Cyber Security Manager, the Systems Administrator will assist in the design and the operational management of aspects of ICT security systems and associated infrastructures on the Nulka program.
Key responsibilities include:
5. Assist in ensuring that the classified project environment and its management infrastructure platforms meet the current performance, reliability, and security requirements
6. Assist with the planning, design, and implementation of classified project environment subsystems by utilising best practice approaches to develop, test, evaluate, and install enhancements and new systems that meet architectural, customer and business requirements
7. Apply security patches to system applications and ensure cyber security documentation is up to date
8. Package, deliver and support applications operating within the classified project environment, ensuring they remain compliant against frameworks
9. Assist in the effective operation of network security infrastructure including SIEM, vulnerability management, endpoint security, firewall, network and host IPS and device control technologies across multiple platforms and environments
10. Provide technical advice to the business and customers in the day-to-day delivery of services, including responding to user problems and rectifying faults
11. Provide assistance in developing sound and accurate security accreditation documentation
12. Identify process improvement to optimise service delivery and cost benefit to the business and customers
About YOU
13. Extensive Systems Administrator or ICT experience, including Windows 2022, Windows 11, VMware vSphere, Horizon
14. Strong understanding of cyber security principles, technologies, and practices
15. Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISM, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and their application in enterprise environments.
16. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and recommend effective solutions
17. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
18. A current NV2 level Australian Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
19. Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
