If this sounds like you, please don’t hesitate to reach out or apply through our portal Your new role In your new job as an English Teacher with Hays, you will teach GCSE English and Functional Skills in a flexible, trauma-informed way to a small group of learners in Key Stage 3 and 4. You’ll work closely with Teaching Assistants and other staff members to deliver the best education for these pupils. What you need to succeed To succeed in your new job, you’ll hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and feel confident teaching GCSE English and Functional Skills in an alternative setting. You will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience teaching in a SEND environment with disengaged and at-risk learners. You’re someone who loves taking on a challenge and you enjoy adapting to new situations. Most importantly, you’ll be confident stepping into a new school and ready to build relationships with a new set of pupils.
