Our client is looking for a Commercial Service Manager to a global market leader for the latest advancements in Mechanical & Electrical engineering within Low Temperature cooling technology.
Since being incorporated in 1983, the UK office, situated in Hampshire, employs 23 staff with a turnover of £32m. The company has been fortunate to have seen stable and continued growth, through recent testing economic climates, and its ambitious plans for further growth over the coming years provide an opportunity for a Commercial Service Manager to join the team.
As the Commercial Service Manager, you will lead the Company's Service Department to manage customer interactions and set out service processes in line with sister service centres in the group, whilst applying local regulations and customer expectations. The primary duties include:
1. Maintain service orders, revenue, and margins in line with budgets, providing timely summaries and updates to MD and Operations Manager and KPI.
2. Develop and implement service policies and procedures.
3. Promote service as a product and develop methods for expansion of the Service business within UK territories.
4. Responsible for meeting annual targets for spares orders, revenue, and gross margin.
5. Responsible for the Iso Quality Service Policies, Procedures, and Safe Working Practices.
6. Carry out after sales service where required and provide technical support and service training in line with SME to agents and customers.
7. Develop and maintain equipment resource requirements for the UK.
8. Ensure all systems and procedures for Service meet with UK and European regulations.
9. Develop and implement training programmes for Service engineers/technicians and Service Administrator.
10. Confidence to be able to communicate with key leadership groups.
11. Previous Mechanical and Electrical engineering background.
12. Proven track record within a service organization.
13. Advanced Microsoft skills: Word, Excel, Teams, and literacy skills.
14. Enterprise Resource Planning software experience.
