Project Engineer
Location: Frimley, Surrey
Salary: £40-50k

Job Purpose:
Manage projects from start to finish, working closely with customers, providing technical support, and designing hydraulic products (like cylinders and valves). Help grow the customer base and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review project enquiries and make sure the proposed products meet company capabilities.
2. Use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to design hydraulic products, ensuring cost-efficiency.
3. Keep technical documents, drawings, and specifications organised and up-to-date.
4. Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
5. Provide technical expertise to the team and customers.
6. Manage project changes and monitor performance using appropriate tools.
7. Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
8. Assist in business development by promoting and selling hydraulic products.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education: HNC or higher in Mechanical Engineering, with knowledge of hydraulics.
Software: Skilled in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
Experience: Familiar with manufacturing processes, hydraulic product design, and project management.
Skills: Strong problem-solving and organisational skills. Able to manage multiple projects and communicate well with customers. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible for Security Clearance and provide a DBS check.
