Job Description Clinical Director / Lead Vet Opportunity to join and lead our amazing team who have created our award-winning independent small animal Veterinary Centre. Located just off the M5, in Weston-s-mare, with separate dog and cat clinics under one roof, and 24hr on-site emergency care, our practice prides itself on the level of care we’re able to deliver to our clients and pets. IIP Awarded The Role: Our team mean the world to us, so we are looking for someone with a passion for excellence in 1st opinion veterinary care, a willingness to learn and develop their skills, and support their team with developing theirs. You will lead a high performing team and lead by example. This role is for someone who really wants to be able to deliver gold standard of care, to work with the team to come up with clinical plans, and then have the autonomy to deliver this. You will be the end decision maker when it comes to clinical decisions and leadership. The 40 hour week will be a 4 day week with 1 in 5 weekend day work and flexibility within the calendar year in all areas including OOH if the team needs the support, but like with everything this can be discussed for the right candidate. Ideal candidate: · Experience of leading a 5 vet team and supporting head and deputy head nurses, along with a nurse team · 10 years of experience · Safe pair of clinical hands that inspires trust · Great relations and communication skills for clients and team · Examples of successful Growth and clinical initiatives · Awareness and development of practice KPIs that can be translated and disseminated to the teams · Compassion and Understanding
