Main duties of the job

As a Healthcare Support Worker you will beresponsible for providing care to people admitted to our ward forrehabilitation. We work closely as a multi-disciplinary team. Our focus ispromoting the comfort and wellbeing of patients, enabling them to live asindependently as possible. Pershore is a small but friendly team to work with.As a team we encourage ongoing learning and development through reflection andclinical supervision which we try and embed in our daily practice.
Our support workers are required to supportthe nurses in the running of the ward, working alongside all members of the MDTas well as patients, their families and carers to provided 24/7 rehabilitationto enable the highest level of independence and quality of life.
Successfulapplicants will be expected to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day periodincluding days and nights and weekends.

7. Level 2 qualification ( GCSE Grade A-C, NVQ2) in Care OR A good standard of general education to GCSE level and will be expected to undertake the relevant Level 2 qualification on appointment to post
8. Will be expected to meet the Care Certificate standards within 12 weeks of commencing employment with the Trust
9. I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
