About the Role
As the Campaigns and Digital Marketing Manager at the University of Wolverhampton, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the university and attracting students via large multi-channel campaigns. You will be responsible for developing and executing campaigns that enhance our local, national, and global presence, fostering engagement and driving growth.

About the Team
Our Marketing team, part of our Marketing, Communications and Digital Services Directorate is a diverse and supportive group of individuals who are passionate about promoting our university and attracting new potential students to university. The Marketing Team is led by our Deputy Director, Brand and Marketing who you would be directly reporting to. You will be responsible for managing our team of Faculty marketing Officers and will work alongside the support of the Brand Marketing Manager, Marketing communications and Content Manager, Creative Service Manager, Designers, Content Creators and Copy Writers. You will have access to the support of the wider directorates team of Web Developers, Social and PR professionals, all working together to support brand development and student recruitment.
Your Role
2. Develop and execute a strategic brand marketing strategy and plans that aligns with the university's overall marketing and brand goals
Key responsibilities:
3. Develop and execute a data-driven student recruitment strategy and campaigns that aligns with our strategic objectives and delivers on clear performance targets.
4. Craft compelling campaigns across multiple channels, from digital and social media to print and partnerships, ensuring every touchpoint reflects our vibrant brand and resonates with future students.
5. Collaborate with Recruitment teams and academic leaders to tailor campaigns to specific course offerings and ensure a seamless journey for prospective students.
6. Manage a team of skilled Marketing Officers, providing guidance, support, and fostering their professional development.
7. Analyse campaign performance, optimise strategies, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and reporting.
8. Champion creativity and innovation, leveraging emerging trends and technologies to stay ahead of the curve in the competitive world of student recruitment.
Your Profile
9. A proven track record of success in managing multi-faceted marketing campaigns in the Higher Education/FE sector.
10. A strong understanding of marketing principles including audience segmentation, campaign management, and evaluation.
11. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and address marketing challenges
12. Solid experience in media buying across digital and non-digital channels.
13. Expertise in project management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
14. Exceptional communication and presentation skills to inspire both internal and external audiences.
15. A collaborative spirit and the ability to build strong relationships across the university.
16. A passion for education and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of the Higher Education/FE landscape.
