Social Media Content Creator, Ring International Marketing, Creative Brand Studio
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented and driven social media creator to join the Ring International Marketing team. This is a new role that requires creativity, craft, and a high level of organization.
The ideal candidate lives and breathes social media, is at the forefront of trends, and has a particular interest in the global nature of culture and content. You are experienced in making social-first brand content that is elevated, highly engaging, and drives performance across KPIs including follower growth, impressions, traffic, engagement rate, and revenue. This role requires an ideas-led mentality, developing content concepts, spotting engagement opportunities, and acting quickly.
You think strategically and analytically about content engagement and how to distribute it through organic and paid methods. You will have good general knowledge of paid social and its role in a holistic social media strategy.
Key job responsibilities
1. Create social-first Ring content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and wider distribution.
2. Execute end-to-end production including photography, filming, sound design, and editing.
3. Manage the social media content plan, copywriting, and translation process.
4. Contribute social-first viewpoints in Ring local market campaign development and content plans.
5. Create social media content at Ring campaign productions and events.
6. Manage Ring social media content plans for selected social channels across multiple locales.
7. Keep the Ring International team at the forefront of social media trends and developments.
A day in the life
This role requires working closely with creatives, designers, producers, and market leads. You will also foster relationships with external companies including creative agencies, media agencies, and production partners.
You will have a track record of delivering stylish, effective results in a timely fashion. Although comfortable working autonomously, you thrive in groups and actively contribute to high-performance teams. You love to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have meticulous attention to detail. You are an excellent problem solver, identifying priorities and potential blockers to achieve goals.
About the team
Creative Brand Studio (CBS) is the creative hub of Ring International Marketing. We serve all Ring customers and local marketing teams outside of North America. Our team dives into data, conducts external research, devises brand strategy, tailors global brand identity, invents and produces creative in-house, fuels Ring-owned platforms, and manages local creative and media advertising agencies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum four years of multi-market brand social media strategy and activation (in-house and/or agency).
2. Solid videographer and general content production knowledge.
3. Proficient in Figma, Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, or similar programs.
4. Expert social media knowledge, particularly in Instagram and TikTok.
5. Experience using data and metrics to measure and report impact and shape action plans.
6. Excellent English writing and fluent English speaking.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Multi-lingual (any of German, Italian, or French would be ideal).
2. Artificial Intelligence literate.
3. Social media copywriting.
4. Social media channel management (such as Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook).
5. Entertainment, gaming, consumer technology, retail, or home-related brand experience.
