Payments Analyst Financial sector Location: Central London Rate: £250.00 per day (inside IR35) Duration: 6 months Remote working with travel to the London or Dublin office once to twice a month. About the Role: A global FinTec client is seeking an ambitious and talented Payments Analyst to join their team to support and work alongside internal teams and external stakeholders. The project will last 4-6 months with a possible extension. The client requires a payments analyst to safeguard customer funds and processing internal payments. Supporting the Payments Manager with daily safeguarding calculations and transfers Reconciliation of customer bank accounts to ensure all payments are completed successfully Generating and sharing revenue reports to the wider finance team Identifying and escalating any errors within reconciliations and payment processing Remediating discrepancies internally within strict timeframes Reviewing internal finance procedures Assisting with audit requests Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the company Collaborate with other departments to improve the company's safeguarding process and resolve any issues or discrepancies Experience: A minimum 3-year full-time experience working directly in payment functions working with client funds Knowledge of safeguarding requirements from regulatory bodies Experience using third party reconciliation and payments management software. Proficient knowledge of payment methods and banking practices Expertise in Microsoft Excel High calibre communication skills and interpersonal skills
