What you’ll do as a Business Development Executive:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join one of our successful product verticals at Gartner. You will be responsible for hunting net new opportunities and strategically selling our Research and Advisory solutions across EMEA. Your target audience will be Large Enterprise clients (successful companies generating in excess of $1 billion annual revenue). The opportunity is based in our attractive London office, hybrid, virtual first.
Principle Accountabilities:
1. Identify and drive new business opportunities with new-to-Gartner organizations across EMEA, targeting Large Enterprise C-level stakeholders.
2. Convert viable prospects into active Gartner clients (members), owning the full sales conversation and negotiation, through to the transition of new clients to the account management team
3. Continually build an encouraging pipeline of relevant opportunities to deliver against your sales metrics ensuring KPI’s are met
4. Quota responsibility delivering circa £400kper annum of new logo revenue across your assigned territory
5. Manage complex high-revenue sales across matrix and diverse business environments.
6. Exercise forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
What you’ll need to be successful:
7. 5-10 years’ B2B sales experience, preferably within either Technology, SaaS, services or a consultative environment
8. Proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets in a business development / new business environment
9. Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives
10. Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sales process
11. Willingness to conduct EMEA-wide travel
