This well-established business in Yalding is looking for an experienced administrator who is able to take ownership of their stock administration. The Client This is an established family owned agriculture based group of businesses. It is based in a beautiful semi-rural location with parking on site. They are passionate about what they do, and they place their staff at the heart of this. The Role The client is seeking an additional on-site administrator who can take on all aspects of administration of their stock. This is an exciting opportunity as it is a position that interacts with all parts of the business and would allow the successful candidate to build up a wealth of knowledge of how the business operates and the products it sells. Key Responsibilities will include: Manage the transportation of goods, coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners. Prepare and manage documentation, including bills of loading, export/import documentation, customs clearance forms, and other necessary paperwork. Ensuring internal database and logs are completed accurately. Arranging collections and deliveries. Some client contact, including updating clients on their shipments. Supporting the wider office with general administration as required. The Person Candidates must have previous experience in an administration role and be able to work individually within the small office team. If you have experience of hops, stock management, import or exports, this would be helpful but not essential. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including a good standard of Excel. Experience of using a database such as Access is helpful but not essential. Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Comfortable with taking ownership and responsibility Attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with various stakeholders. The Terms Based in the Yalding office This is a permanent role working 4 or 5 days per week. If working full time, this is based on 35 hrs/week, 09:00 to 17:00 or 08:00 to 16:00, plus 1 hour paid lunch break. They are open to candidates looking for reduced hours e.g. 30 hours per week. Working hours can be negotiable depending on applicants needs. Salary £27k FTE (salary review at 3 months) 25 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays (Additional paid holidays between Christmas and New Year dependant on work load at the discretion of the owner) these will be pro-rated down if working part-time Standard statutory pension scheme after 3 months service. full time equivalent actual salary will depend on hours worked.
