In this role, you will work closely with the CFO and Deputy CFO in the Finance and Technical Processing division, playing a key role in delivering high-quality management information to senior leadership. Your expertise will help maintain strong financial controls and ensure the seamless continuation of critical financial operations. Please note that insurance experience or a background in broking is essential. Role responsibilities Maintain and review fixed asset registers Manage nominal ledger and supporting documentation Update FX rates and reconcile bank transactions in Cash Manager Review Bought Ledger and Cashbook reports Prepare client money reconciliations Produce monthly management accounts and income reports (Bii) Assist with corporate tax calculations and VAT returns Prepare regulatory returns (e.g., FCA’s RMAR, Resilience report) Support CFO and AD in financial controls and year-end financial statements Assist in interim profit verification and accounting consolidation review Prepare the Group’s annual budget Generate annual 1099 forms for US supplier payments Propose FX trading activity and surplus fund investments Review UK entities' P11D forms and ensure timely submission Maintain relationships with external counterparties (banks, consultants, etc.) Perform ad hoc duties as needed Skills Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 2 years post-qualification experience Insurance/broking background Experience in both practice and industry Tenacious, resilient, and ambitious Strong senior management engagement skills Proactive problem-solver, adept at handling multiple challenges Adaptable and thrives under pressure and change Familiarity with CASS (Client Money) rulebook, especially Chapter 5, is highly desirable
