They service not only their own original equipment but also third-party rotating equipment, ensuring sustainability and cost-effectiveness throughout their life cycle. Their industry-leading product experts offer unparalleled technical support, and their capabilities range from local site services to large machine refurbishment and upgrades.
As an Aftermarket Sales Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in driving their success across the Aberdeen and Dundee regions. You will be the face of the business to your customers, supporting solutions, driving growth, and promoting face-to-face relationship building.
Responsibilities include:
1. Develop and maintain strong connections with both existing and potential clients. Understand their unique challenges and collaborate to create bespoke solutions that meet their needs.
2. Carry out in-depth research within your region to uncover new sales leads, particularly for electric rotating machinery maintenance, including generators, motors, and transformers. Provide insightful market feedback to continuously enhance the company's offerings.
3. Offer support and guidance to customers, showcasing the company's innovative products and services to address complex engineering problems.
4. Pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Job Requirements:
1. A proven track record in technical sales with a deep understanding of the sales process.
2. Extensive knowledge of electric rotating machinery, including motors, generators, and transformers.
3. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
4. A self-motivated, results-driven approach with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
5. Residence within the Aberdeen or Dundee areas.
6. A Full UK Driver's Licence and willingness to travel within your assigned area.
