Purchasing Administrator
Our well established client are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their exciting projects team. The ideal candidate will have a tenacious, pro-active attitude, and be able to work autonomously as well as within a team. This is a demanding position requiring the ability to multi-task and prioritise in dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have proven experience in purchasing ( particularly raw materials ), a background in production and manufacturing environments, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities as Purchasing Administrator
Managing the purchasing and quality assurance administration for projects
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Buying raw materials and working with sub-contractors
Purchasing materials to specification
Utilising ERP/MP systems and reading material drawingsQualifications and Experience as Purchasing Administrator
Proven experience in purchasing
Knowledge of working in a production and manufacturing environment
Experience buying raw materials and working with sub-contractors
ERP/MRP experience
Ability to read material drawings is a plus
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Good attention to detail
Able to prioritise in a busy environment
