An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen in the Drainage Asset Team within the Highways & Transportation Directorate. We are looking for the right person to join a great team on a full-time basis, grade KSI starting salary of £45,672.
The Drainage Planned Works Team Leader is the accountable officer for leading and managing a team of drainage engineers responsible for the delivery of planned drainage repairs, renewals and improvements across the County including all associated financial and administrative tasks to ensure an efficient service is delivered across the whole County in accordance with the Council’s Approach to Highways Asset Management and Risk Based Service Levels.
You will also be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the council’s Drainage Forward Works Programme as part of its Highway Asset Management Plan. You will lead scheme identification and assessment, management of the programme, and overseeing the design and delivery processes. The post holder will also represent the council within collaborative drainage improvement and sustainable drainage schemes with other risk management authorities, as well as being responsible for processing customer correspondence via the council’s complaints process, ensuring matters are dealt with promptly and with diligence.
You will need to be an excellent team player and be able to establish good working relationships with a variety of teams and stakeholders to deliver great customer service.
This role is subject to holding a full UK Driving Licence.
