Salary: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience).

About the Role
As a Teacher of English, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons, nurturing students' love for literature and language. You will inspire confidence in reading, writing, and communication, helping students develop essential skills for their future.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in English, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum.
* Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.
* Use innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning and student engagement.
* Monitor student progress and provide targeted support and feedback to enhance achievement.
* Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that caters to diverse student needs.
* Contribute to curriculum development and collaborate with colleagues on department initiatives.
* Support students with coursework, exam preparation and career guidance related to English.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
* Applications from overseas-trained teachers who meet UK teaching standards are welcomed.
* Experienced Teaching Assistants or Cover Supervisors looking to progress into teaching will also be considered.
* A strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English.
* The ability to engage and inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities.
* Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to high expectations.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
