Key Resposnsibilites As a Project Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the scheduling, financial health, and overall performance of a project Our offices are based in Manchester, but we work with clients across the Northwest. Key responsibilities include, Schedule Management - Timeline Oversight : Ensure project activities are scheduled realistically and adjusted as needed while monitoring critical paths and dependencies to avoid delays. Performance Reporting - Progress Tracking : Monitor project progress and milestones to ensure timelines are met. Developing and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders. Risk Management – Identify Risks : Work with the project team to identify financial, scheduling, and resource-related risks. Financial Management and Cost Control – Budgeting, Forecasting and Cost Monitoring Tools and Systems Management - System Utilisation: Manage and optimise the use of project management tools (e.g., ERP, Primavera, MS Project). Skills, Knowledge and Experience The successful candidate will have a combination of the below attributes – this is not a check list: Experience in Project Scheduling, Planning, Cost Control and Risk Management Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Project Management tools (e.g., ERP, Primavera, MS Project). A relevant qualification such as from APM (PMQ, PPQ), PRINCE2 or PMP would be of benefit. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Willingness to travel as required.
