Mental Health Classroom Assistant required: Are you passionate about supporting children who struggle with their mental health? Do you have previous experience in a role where you have helped somebody with their mental health? Qualiteach are currently working with a dedicated, and dynamic, special provision who dedicate their support for pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties who are seeking a new classroom assistant to join their team. The role: Build strong relationships with the pupils in small groups, or in a one-to-one capacity. Utilise a range of behaviour support strategies and techniques to help guide pupils who struggle with regulating their emotions. Uphold child safeguarding regulations and work with other education professionals to create a safe, nurturing environment for the pupils. Develop and make use of a range of strategies to break down learning content into small chunks to guide pupils into improving learning outcomes.
