The Role: As Marketing Assistant, you will help achieve the new business team’s objectives by coordinating the hospitality and events calendar, creating engaging social media content, and sending marketing collateral to existing customers and prospects. Responsibilities: Continuously develop and manage the events and hospitality calendar, including creating internal briefs, coordinating with third parties, managing invitations, overseeing event setup and takedown, and gathering feedback for continuous improvement. Develop and implement an internal communications strategy, including launching the agency newsletter and preparing a quarterly marketing collateral report. Execute a comprehensive social media strategy by developing campaigns, gathering information from team members for engaging content, and capturing photos for social media platforms. Monitor incoming marketing invoices and collaborate with the marketing manager to manage the marketing budget effectively. Assist insurance executives with marketing campaigns, sending approved marketing collateral to support cross-selling and upselling initiatives. Obtain a comprehensive understanding of marketing compliance to ensure the log and folder remain compliant, as well as helping maintain the agency website to ensure accuracy. Deliver ad-hoc projects and/or other duties as required, to support the delivery of marketing output, business strategy and customer experience, such as locally implemented campaigns. Effective management of stock, ordering marketing and business stationary as well as marketing kit and collateral for events. When engaging publicly at events or in the office, consistently provide excellent levels of customer service in all interactions. Skills and Requirements: Previous experience in a marketing role or a relevant marketing qualification is desirable. An understanding of social media strategy and an understanding of coordinating events, hospitality & sponsorship is essential. Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong IT skills especially Microsoft Office.
