About Us:
We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in Northampton to support students in a Primary School setting.
Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to children across all Key Stages. You will provide individual and group support, assist with classroom activities, and promote a positive learning atmosphere for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with special educational needs (SEN).
Encourage and engage students in classroom activities, ensuring they stay focused and motivated.
Help maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
Support with classroom management and ensure student wellbeing.
Prepare classroom materials and resources to support lesson activities.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
Assist with the preparation for and during school events or trips.
