The Impact You'll Own As IT Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and securing our growing workforce IT estate, ensuring our team has the tools and technology they need to work effectively while maintaining robust security standards. You'll oversee our device management infrastructure, implement security policies, and serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related matters. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain our Microsoft Intune environment for macOS device management Configure and enforce security policies through Conditional Access and compliance policies Oversee device lifecycle management, including procurement, setup, deployment, and retirement Manage software deployment and updates across the organisation Monitor and maintain device compliance with security standards Implement and maintain security baselines for macOS Manage user access rights and permissions Monitor and respond to IT support tickets in Jira raised via Slack Maintain documentation of IT processes and procedures Coordinate with hardware vendors for device procurement and maintenance Support ISO27001 certification preparation and maintenance Manage and maintain our Linux server infrastructure Ensure efficient ticket workflow between Slack and Jira for IT support Essential Skills Technical Requirements: Proven experience managing Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager environment Strong knowledge of macOS device management and security Experience with Microsoft 365 administration Familiarity with Conditional Access policies and identity management Understanding of mobile device management (MDM) principles Experience with endpoint security and compliance monitoring Knowledge of IT security best practices and frameworks Proficiency in managing software deployment and updates Experience with Azure AD administration Basic Linux server administration skills Experience with Jira ticket management Familiarity with Slack administration and integrations Core Requirements: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication abilities with both technical and non-technical staff Ability to maintain detailed documentation and processes Experience in providing IT support in a professional environment Organised approach to managing multiple priorities Proactive attitude towards security and compliance Customer-service oriented mindset Desirable Skills Experience with ISO27001 implementation or maintenance Knowledge of automation and scripting for device management Experience with Apple Business Manager/VPP Familiarity with cloud infrastructure security Experience with identity protection and security monitoring Knowledge of data protection regulations and compliance requirements Experience with backup and disaster recovery planning Familiarity with IT asset management systems Experience in a fast-paced startup environment Advanced Linux system administration Experience with Slack/Jira integration development ITIL foundation certification or similar Benefits Contribute to a B-Corp certified business making purposeful impact related to climate change Monthly training & conference budget to help you upskill and develop your career (£1,000 per year) 6 monthly appraisals and 12 monthly pay reviews Pension contribution scheme Flexible hours and hybrid working (3 days/week in office; core hours 10am-4pm) Mental Health and Wellbeing support via Oliva 25 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays, annual 3-day Christmas-closure, and half day on your birthday (36.5 days total) Opportunity to work on social impact & pro bono strategy projects Optional quarterly socials, dinners, and fun nights out A fully stocked supply of snacks, fruit, and refreshments for the days when you are in the office Equal Opportunities Climate X are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
