Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 7.00am - 4.00pm Mon-Thurs, 7.00am - 1.00pm Friday

This specialist manufacturer in Bristol has an opportunity for an Electro Mechanical Assembler to join the team in a permanent role. The main functions of the role are the assembly, wiring, and fitting of electrical control and power supply as well as mechanical fitting onto equipment. The ability to use both skill sets is important for this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform mainly electrical assembly and wiring and some mechanical assembly of equipment according to technical specifications, willing to do a combination of both.
2. Utilise various hand and power tools efficiently and safely to wire controls and power supply wiring and assemble and fix component assemblies.
3. Follow engineering and technical drawings.
4. Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
5. Troubleshoot and fault find to identify and resolve electrical wiring and connections issues during the assembly process.
6. Communicate with the engineering team and colleagues to ensure efficient workflow to meet production targets.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a hands-on role within a production or manufacturing environment and proficiency with hand and power tools.
2. Previous production assembly build and fitting experience in electrical and basic mechanical either bench work or workshop.
3. Either time served or with NVQ or City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications in electrical or mechanical or production related engineering.
4. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings and specifications.
5. Good communication to work closely with the production team to ensure safety compliance adhering to all health and safety regulations.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
