Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced HSE Quality Assurance Leader to spearhead our clients' commitment to excellence in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HSE management and be able to develop and implement effective strategies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and Implement HSE Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive HSE management systems to improve performance and ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
* Lead Training Programs: Design and deliver training programs to foster a culture of safety among employees, promoting a proactive approach to HSE.
* Audit and Inspection: Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive HSE-related continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of excellence.
* Analyze Incident Reports: Analyze incident reports and safety performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations for preventing future occurrences.
* Liaise with Regulatory Bodies: Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, ensuring all necessary documentation is maintained and up-to-date.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (desirable)
* Proven experience in HSE management within a manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and best practices
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification (highly desirable)
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
