Digital Transformation Project Manager
My client, a leader in their field, is seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic initiatives as part of a large-scale digital transformation program. The role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record of managing complex projects, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives on time and within budget. The successful candidate will come from a digital agency background.
Location: £530pd (INSIDE IR35) - London/Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
2. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and manage them through the project lifecycle.
3. Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, define success criteria, and manage expectations.
4. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and issues effectively.
5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, and third-party vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
6. Oversee budget management, tracking expenditure and ensuring projects remain cost-effective.
7. Implement Agile or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to the project needs.
8. Drive cultural and operational change to support the adoption of new digital solutions.
9. Provide regular project updates to senior stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
10. Support the delivery of user training, documentation, and post-implementation reviews.
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager in digital transformation or IT-related projects.
2. Methodologies: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
3. Stakeholder engagement: Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with experience managing senior stakeholders.
4. Technical expertise: Familiarity with digital platforms, cloud-based solutions, and enterprise-level technologies.
5. Change management: Experience in driving business change and ensuring user adoption of new processes and systems.
6. Tools: Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or MS Project.
7. Problem-solving: Ability to identify and address challenges proactively and deliver solutions effectively.
8. Compliance: Familiarity with governance and compliance requirements in IT projects (e.g., data protection and security).
9. Qualifications: PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certifications are highly desirable.
