Job Description:
· Design and Engineering: Develop marine electrical systems for main propulsion machinery, auxiliary machinery, and hotel systems during the concept, basic, and detailed design stages.
· Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive technical drawings, calculations, and specifications.
· Project Support: Assist in feasibility studies, concept development, and conversion projects.
· Customer Requirements: Translate customer needs into functional specifications, ensuring high quality and cost-effectiveness.
· Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other disciplines to achieve project deliverables.
· Supplier Communication: Consult with equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
Experience and Qualifications:
· Education: B.Sc./B.Eng. in Marine or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
· Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of ship main machinery, auxiliary systems, and propulsion systems.
· Skills: Ability in producing technical specifications, presentations, and drawings; experience with Class Societies; technical report writing and presentations; strong computer skills (AutoCAD, Office 365, ETAP or equivalent).
