An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Music Therapist to join Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH). This role offers the chance to work clinically within CUH’s Paediatric Inpatient and Outpatient Services, delivering music therapy on the Wards and in an Outpatients Clinic in the centre of Cambridge.
The inpatient work will also cover teenage children who are Inpatients and is a new addition to Music Therapy roles. With the advent of the Children’s Hospital approaching, development of holistic services is key to the new models of care.
To participate in the delivery of our Paediatric Music Therapy Service, managing a caseload of clients, providing individual and group music therapy sessions with Paediatric Inpatients (including teenagers and young people) and with Paediatric Outpatients and families.
You will join the existing Music Therapy Service at CUH in providing music therapy to children and families, and in addition, learn about research that explores the impact of music therapy on health and well-being.
You will also work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of Clinicians and Researchers to ensure the highest standard of care and evidence-based practice.
