About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Sales Executive within our Driffield, Howden and Pocklington Agency. You will be responsible for the delivery of Commercial new business by efficiently prospecting and managing your pipeline of leads to ensure a high uptake of quotations. You will introduce the full range of NFU Mutual products, including Financial Services, Risk Management Services and General Insurance products. As a Commercial Sales Executive within our team, you’ll be working at the very heart of an expanding local business. You’ll apply your excellent communication skills to make the most of every prospect, exceed targets and promote who we are.
About you:
You are a highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude. You will be an enthusiastic team player and have a can-do attitude. You are committed to learning and development and ready for the challenge of being part of a busy team; you will aspire to grow and thrive in this working environment.
Key Competencies:
1. Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and relationship building abilities with the ability to influence decision makers at all levels of business.
2. Ability to work well within a team environment but also focus on their own and team targets.
3. Demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic, holistic customer experience to our existing and prospective clients.
4. Ideally, you will have experience of working within insurance or other financially regulated industries.
5. Ideally, you will have experience of prospecting potential customers.
6. Be keen to develop your knowledge and expertise; utilising the extensive training, support and resources we have available.
7. Maths and English qualifications are a requirement (please detail these in your CV).
