We are looking for a dynamic person to support the Lead Pharmacy Technician for Education and Development in delivering the education, training and continual professional development of all Pharmacy technical and support staff in the Trust.
We are committed to working with our prescribers and nursing colleagues to help deliver the best care for patients and we actively support pharmacists and technicians in developing the skills needed to play a part in this multi-disciplinary team.
The successful candidate will hold GPhC UK professional registration as a pharmacy technician and have experience of supporting trainees.

You will support the apprenticeship training for pharmacy technicians and assistants in the Trust. You will support the development of members of the wider multidisciplinary team within the trust. This role will provide a unique opportunity to build relationships with stakeholders both within the trust and nationally to support and influence the development of training programmes in line with national requirements.
You will be required to contribute as needed to a clinical and operational pharmacy service within the Trust. To support seven day working, pharmacy staff work Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays on a rotational basis. The post holder would be expected to join this rota.
