Alliance Personnel are currently recruiting for assistant production manager to join one of their food manufacturing clients based in Birmingham. Role Duties Supporting senior management team by overseeing and handling day-to-day production shop-floor operational issues, ensuring, high-quality and cost-efficient customer service. Responsibilities Assisting senior management in delivery of daily production plans. Conducting daily shop-floor meetings with production team leaders. Generating shift reports for senior managers. Assisting in resolving production shop-floor issues. Issuing and collecting daily production plans. Assist with shop-floor personnel issues. Assisting with conducting staff disciplinary and grievance matters. To promote a positive and work-focused culture within the production areas. To assist with ensuring the highest hygiene and housekeeping standards. Skills and Attributes Essential: Enthusiastic and positive approach. Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills. Computer Literate. Self-motivated, keen for a long-term career in the Food industry. Highly Advantageous: Proven leadership experience within a food environment would be preferable. Hours of Work 7:30 – 5:00 Monday to Friday
