Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and professional Reception Team member to join our organization in Salisbury, United Kingdom. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
1. Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
2. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently and courteously
3. Manage check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth process for all guests
4. Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and accurately
5. Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve any issues
6. Maintain a clean and organized reception area
7. Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
8. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation
9. Stay informed about hotel amenities, local attractions, and events to provide guests with relevant information
10. Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures
Qualifications
1. Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
4. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
5. Proficiency in basic computer applications and hotel management systems
6. Experience with OPERA CLOUD system is preferred
7. Previous experience in a similar reception or customer service role is an asset
8. Problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations with tact
9. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
