Purpose of the Role: In the Brand Assistant role, your main job is to support and execute marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and consistency across marketing channels. You will collaborate with the Brand & PR Manager, Brand Editor, Senior Social Manager, and Retail Partnerships Manager. Your tasks will include supporting seasonal brand campaigns, content planning, social media management, trend research, and assisting in brand partnerships and local marketing activations. Key Responsibilities: Support with brand planning and marketing related activities. Maintain seasonal brand marketing resources, including asset packs and the distribution of product information. Manage the brand team’s weekly trade pack. Support the Brand & PR Manager and Brand Editor with content planning, artwork briefs and copywriting. Conduct regular research into trends and topical content to guide reactive activity. Collaborate with key channel owners, including the performance marketing team, to ensure the consistency of brand content stories across channels. Support the Senior Social in executing the day-to-day social strategy. Responsible for the tagging and tracking of content on social media. Evaluate and report on social campaigns and activity. Manage payments of campaigns for social platform and content shoots, where relevant. Support seasonal and monthly campaigns across social media. Responsible for community management across social. Work closely with the PR Assistant and Retail Partnerships Manager to produce in-store social content. Support with existing brand partnerships and drive new collaborations with relevant and interesting brands. Support the Retail Partnerships Manager local marketing initiatives, seasonal local marketing packs, new store openings and corporate opportunities. Assist with the planning and production of key PR events and focused PR activity. What You'll Need to Succeed: Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in social media campaigns, influencer marketing, and content creation within the retail sector. Knowledgeable in marketing strategies and customer engagement techniques. About You: Demonstrates exceptional organisational and communication abilities, ensuring effective team collaboration and efficient management of tasks and priorities. Ability to plan, prioritise workload, and adhere to deadlines, fostering a productive team environment and ethic.
